3. Adding Content

The newsletter editor provides various ways to build engaging content:

Write your newsletter content with rich text formatting.

Upload a banner image to make your newsletter visually appealing.

Include Recent Photos

Automatically include photos from daily reports within a date range.

Include Upcoming Events

Add a section showing upcoming calendar events.

Photo Date Range

When including recent photos, you can select a date range. This is perfect for monthly newsletters that showcase what happened during the month.

Tip: Use the preview feature to see exactly how your newsletter will look to parents before sending.

4. Sending & Scheduling

When your newsletter is ready, you have two options:

Send Now

Immediately deliver the newsletter to all selected recipients.

Schedule

Choose a specific date and time for delivery.

Best Sending Times

  • Mid-morning (9-10 AM) for daily updates
  • Friday afternoons for weekly recaps
  • End of month for monthly newsletters
  • Avoid weekends when engagement is typically lower

Duplicating Newsletters

For recurring newsletters, use the Duplicate action from the dropdown menu. This copies all content and settings, allowing you to quickly create similar newsletters.

5. Tracking Engagement

After sending a newsletter, Bloomily tracks engagement metrics:

Open Rate

Percentage of recipients who opened the email.

Click Rate

Percentage who clicked on links within the newsletter.

Bounce Count

Number of emails that couldn't be delivered.

Click on a sent newsletter to view detailed stats. This helps you understand what content resonates with parents and improve future newsletters.

Note: Draft newsletters can be edited or deleted. Once a newsletter is sent, you can only view it and its stats - it cannot be modified.
