Give your event a clear name and add details parents need to know.
Set start and end dates. Toggle "All Day" for full-day events.
Add a location for field trips or off-site events.
4. RSVP Management
For events that require attendance tracking, enable RSVP functionality:
RSVP Settings
Turn on RSVP collection for this event.
Set a cutoff date for responses.
Let parents indicate tentative attendance.
Enable parents to bring additional guests and set a maximum number.
Tracking Responses
Once RSVPs are enabled, you'll see attendance counters showing:
- Attending count

- Maybe count (if enabled)
- Total guest count
Tip: Add a custom RSVP question to gather additional information, like dietary restrictions for potluck events.
5. Targeting Specific Groups
Not every event applies to everyone. You can target events to specific groups:
Only families with children in selected classrooms will see the event.
Target individual children (useful for birthday parties, etc.).
Internal events that parents don't need to see.
Event Visibility
Set events as Public (visible on your public page) orPrivate (only visible to logged-in users).
