Setting Up Your Organization

This guide walks you through configuring your childcare center's essential information, business hours, and branding in Bloomily.

1. Basic Information

Start by entering your center's basic details. Navigate to Settings → Organization to access these fields.

Center Name

Your official business name as it will appear to parents.

Address

Your physical location for maps and directions.

Phone Number

Primary contact number displayed to parents.

Email Address

Main email for center communications.

2. Business Hours

Set your center's operating hours. These times are used for:

  • Displaying hours on your public page
  • Check-in/check-out time validation
  • Late pickup notifications
  • Staff scheduling

Tip: If your hours vary by day (e.g., early close on Fridays), you can set different hours for each day of the week.

3. Logo & Branding

Upload your center's logo to personalize the experience for families.

Logo Requirements

  • Format: PNG, JPG, or SVG
  • Minimum size: 200x200 pixels
  • Maximum file size: 2MB
  • Square or landscape orientation works best

Your logo appears in:

  • Parent portal header
  • Daily report emails
  • Public enrollment page
  • Invoice PDFs

4. Timezone Settings

Select your center's timezone to ensure accurate timestamps for:

  • Check-in and check-out times
  • Daily report timestamps
  • Event scheduling
  • Invoice due dates

Important: Changing your timezone after you have data may affect how times are displayed. Contact support if you need to change this for an existing center.
