1. Finding Events That Need RSVPs
Not all events require an RSVP. Events that need your response will be clearly marked:
RSVP-required events show an indicator. Click to see the RSVP option.
You may receive a notification when a new event requires your response.
Upcoming events needing RSVP may appear on your dashboard.
2. How to RSVP
To respond to an event invitation:
- Go to Calendar in the portal
- Click on the event you want to respond to
- The event details will open with RSVP options
- Select your response (Attending, Not Attending, or Maybe)
- Add any optional notes if requested
- Click Submit to save your response
Tip: RSVP as soon as you know your plans. This helps the center plan appropriately for the event.
3. Response Options
Depending on how the center set up the event, you may see these options:
You plan to attend the event.
You won't be able to attend.
You're not sure yet. Use this only if you truly don't know.
RSVP Deadline
Some events have an RSVP deadline after which you can no longer respond. The deadline (if set) is shown in the event details.
4. Adding Guests
For some events, you may be able to bring additional guests:
If guests are allowed, you'll see an option to add the number of additional guests.
There may be a maximum number of guests per family. This will be shown if applicable.
Note: Not all events allow guests. If you don't see a guest option, the event may be for enrolled children and their guardians only.
5. Changing Your Response
Plans change! You can update your RSVP if needed:
- Go back to the event in the Calendar
- Your current response will be shown
- Select a different response
- Click Update to save the change
You can change your response as many times as needed until:
- The RSVP deadline passes (if one is set)
- The event has started
Be Considerate: If you change from "Attending" to "Not Attending," try to let the center know as early as possible so they can adjust their plans.
