Viewing the Calendar
Stay up to date with your center's events, holidays, and important dates. The calendar helps you plan ahead and never miss an event.

1. Accessing the Calendar
To view the center's calendar:
- Log in to the parent portal or open the app
- Click or tap Calendar in the sidebar menu
- The current month will display by default
Tip: You can also see upcoming events on your Dashboard for a quick overview without going to the full calendar.
2. Calendar Views
The calendar displays events in a monthly view:
See the entire month at a glance with event indicators on each day.
Use the arrows to move to previous or future months.
Today's date is highlighted so you can easily find it.
3. Event Types
Events are color-coded by type so you can quickly identify them:
Center is closed. No childcare available.
Center closes early or opens late.
Off-site excursion or outing.
Conference or parent event.
Performances, parties, or special activities.
Forms due, registration deadlines, etc.
Look for the color legend on the calendar page to reference event types.
4. Viewing Event Details
Click or tap on any event to see more information:
The name of the event.
When the event takes place, including start and end times.
Where the event is held (if applicable).
Additional details about the event.
If the event requires a response, you can RSVP from the details view.
5. Upcoming Events
For a quick view of what's coming up:
The calendar page shows a list of events coming in the next 30 days.
Your dashboard shows the nearest upcoming events.
Stay Informed: Enable notifications to receive reminders about upcoming events so you don't forget important dates.
